Training Reimbursements
State and federal economic and workforce development programs offer cash incentives to qualifying companies that are delivering jobs skills training to their frontline workers, thereby creating new jobs or retaining existing jobs. TFP is not a training company; rather, our sole focus is assisting our clients in accessing millions of dollars in state and federal training funds that are awarded each year. Our services manage or perform the entire process of accessing these funds. We develop, prepare and negotiate the applications for our clients, and upon approval, manage the entire administrative process through our proprietary, web-based systems. Our services are nationwide, and usually our clients are repeat contractors in states where they have significant trainee populations. Our systems and services provide a mitigating solution to the high cost of training.
Application and Contract Development Services Include:
Contract Set-up and Administration Services Include:
- Creating a customized database of your company's trainees and tracking their individual progress
- Preparing program-mandated reports to track and report each participant's training progress
- Providing periodic customized status reports to company training leaders
- Interfacing with state representatives throughout the term of the contract
- Preparing and negotiating contract modifications, amendments, waivers and appeals
- Maintaining our client-facing 24/7 Contract Management Portal, allowing company training leaders to retrieve real-time project data for client project personnel to retrieve real-time project data
Training Tax Credits and Other Training Incentives
A few programs offer tax credits related to employee training, sometimes in addition to direct cash reimbursements. In some cases these tax credits can be applied retroactively to income taxes paid in earlier years, and unused training tax credits may be carried forward to offset future income taxes.
In certain cases, other training incentives and program funding can be accessed.
